The Associate Scientist supports hands-on biopharmaceutical research—running experiments, optimizing assays, analyzing data, and collaborating with senior scientists to develop innovative healthcare solutions.

Role Summary

You will execute laboratory experiments, analyze results, and support assay development and validation to advance programs from discovery through development—maintaining documentation and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and document experiments with accurate data capture.
  • Assist in assay optimization, method development, and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze data; prepare summaries, reports, and slide decks for reviews.
  • Author/maintain SOPs; ensure compliance with GLP/cGMP where applicable.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, QA, and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 5+ years relevant experience; or
  • PhD in a related field with 3+ years biopharma experience.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on with analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, MS) and wet-lab workflows.
  • Data analysis & visualization using common scientific tools/software.
  • Understanding of quality and regulatory frameworks (cGMP, GLP, GCP).

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in cross-functional settings.
  • Team-oriented mindset with proactive ownership of tasks.
